COMPANY BACKGROUND

The Pusat Aspirasi Anak Perak, also known as PASAK, is a human resource development agency under the portfolio of the Perak State Government’s Human Resource Committee. It assists in managing job vacancies, particularly for the people of Perak.

PASAK is a continuation of the Pusat Kerjaya Amanjaya (PeKA), which was established in 2011. Previously, PeKA mainly focused on career development and youth, but now, after being renamed as the Pusat Aspirasi Anak Perak (PASAK), its role has been enhanced within the Perak State Government’s organization.

PASAK’s current expanded scope of activities is not limited to youth and careers but also includes a wide range of the population, encompassing urban and rural youth, single mothers, graduates, community leaders, and more. The activities and programs conducted by PASAK aim to enhance human capital, education, industry networking, skills training, soft skills development, human development, multimedia, and career development, serving as a key pillar for the state of Perak.

One of the high-impact programs organized by PASAK in 2022 was the ‘Karnival Kerjaya Perak Sejahtera’. It was a mega career carnival that offered around 10,000 job opportunities and involved approximately 58 local industries in the state of Perak. This carnival served as a bridge connecting the people of Perak with job opportunities and existing skills. PASAK plays a vital role as an intermediary between job seekers and local companies offering job opportunities.

Moreover, PASAK was selected as one of the main leading agencies and implementing agencies for the Malaysian TVET Corridor in the state of Perak. PASAK manages five types of TVET courses, including TVET for the Disabled, TVET for the Orang Asli, Skilled Work TVET, Modular Industry Training TVET, and TVET for Seniors and Orphans. Various segments of the population in the state of Perak benefit from these skill courses.

PASAK also organizes several other programs such as Campus Exploration, Career Mapping, Career Clinics, the Moh Kroje Career Carnival Program, the Human Building Academy, ‘Ngopi dan Kerjaya’, and many other exciting programs.

Currently, PASAK is led by Mr. Aldrin Ng as the Director of PASAK. Please pray for PASAK to remain committed and steadfast in providing unwavering service to all citizens, especially the people of Perak Darul Ridzuan.
