Shin-Etsu Staff Login Issue
- Problem: Shin-Etsu staff encountered difficulties when attempting to log in to the Talent Perak platform.
- Cause: The root cause of this issue was that these staff members mistakenly entered their names in the username field instead of using their email addresses, which serve as their usernames.
- Solution: To resolve this issue, a simple clarification was provided to the staff. They were informed that their username is their registered email address, and upon using the correct information, they were able to successfully log in.
QSR Store (KFC Malaysia) Review Problem
- Problem: Staff members from QSR Store (KFC Malaysia) were unable to review candidates who had applied for job positions within their company.
- Cause: The core issue here was that these staff members were registered as individual users on the Talent Perak platform and did not have the necessary privileges as company administrators to review candidates.
- Solution: In order to facilitate the review process for these staff members, manual intervention was required. The solution involved manually adding these staff accounts to their respective company’s admin side, granting them the access needed to review and manage candidate applications effectively.
Wei Dat Status Update Issue
- Problem: Wei Dat staff faced difficulties when attempting to update candidate statuses within the Talent Perak platform. Specifically, they encountered an issue where the system prompted them to enter an interview date even when it was not necessary.
- Cause: The system’s requirement for an interview date was causing delays and confusion when trying to update a candidate’s status.
- Solution: To address this issue, a temporary workaround was applied. Staff members were assisted in manually updating candidate statuses, with the understanding that they could add the interview date at a later time, as it was not always immediately available or required.
Session Login Timeout Error
- Problem: Users frequently experienced session login timeouts during their interactions with the Talent Perak platform.
- Cause: The primary cause of this issue was the relatively short session timeout settings configured on the platform. These settings mandated that users be logged out after a brief period of inactivity.
- Solution: To address the session timeout problem, it was noted for future review. A suggested solution involved adjusting the session timeout settings to allow for longer periods of inactivity before automatic logouts occurred, thus enhancing the user experience.
User-Friendly Interface
- Problem: Some users (Public Bank Staffs) found the Talent Perak platform’s interface to be non-user-friendly, leading to confusion during navigation.
- Cause: The root cause of this issue was that users had difficulty locating candidate information within the platform.
- Solution: In response to this issue, an immediate solution was provided. Users were informed that they needed to scroll down within the interface to access candidate details. This feedback was also noted as valuable user input for potential future interface enhancements aimed at improving overall usability.
No Input for Second Interview
- Problem: Users could not locate a dedicated input field for specifying second interview details within the Talent Perak platform.
- Cause: The absence of a specific input section for second interview information was complicating the process for companies conducting multiple interview rounds.
- Solution: To streamline the second interview process, a recommendation was made to add a dedicated input field within the platform for second interview details. This improvement would simplify and standardize the process for companies needing to document this information.
Resume Viewing Problem
- Problem: Users encountered difficulties when attempting to view candidates’ resumes, and the exact technical issue causing this problem was not immediately clear.
- Cause: The precise technical cause of this issue was unknown, requiring further investigation.
- Solution: The problem was documented for in-depth investigation by technical support. The aim was to identify and address the underlying issue causing the inability to view candidates’ resumes effectively.
Gateway Error 505
- Problem: A Gateway error 505 occurred due to heavy traffic, resulting in system downtime.
- Cause: The root cause of this issue was an overloaded server, which struggled to handle the high volume of users and requests.

- Cause: Some candidates were unfamiliar with the resume creation process.
- Solution: The registration team provided guidance and support to help candidates create resumes using Google Forms and successfully upload them to their Talent Perak accounts.
